Job summary

Seneca Foods Corporation in Montgomery, MN is seeking a Warehouse Manager to lead storage, inventory, labeling, distribution and shipping of finished goods and materials. The role emphasizes safety, quality, CIP/OI, environment and GMP programs.

You will supervise warehouse staff, schedule packaging, maintain inbound/outbound traffic, develop procedures to improve productivity and manage warehouse systems, with a focus on cost, CI and customer service.

Responsibilities

• Set up daily labeling/packaging requirements, shipments and receiving.
• Develop annual budgets and packaging/shipping schedules to meet company needs.
• Schedule and receive all packaging material for production.
• Ensure all employee training sessions are held.
• Supervise, train and schedule warehouse staff.
• Develop new procedures to improve productivity.
• Manage, develop and assess warehouse systems on a safety, cost, CI and customer service basis.

The Warehouse Manager is responsible for the storage, inventory, labeling, distribution and shipping of our finished goods and materials. Experience in different packaging concepts and processes needed. Knowledge and demonstrative use of Lean Manufacturing skills a plus.

• Ensure all employee training sessions are held

Starting wage range based on skills, abilities and experience from $90-$100k.
