Job summary

Seneca Foods Corporation in Montgomery, MN is seeking a Warehouse Manager to lead the storage, inventory, labeling, distribution and shipping of finished goods and materials.

The role emphasizes safety, quality and lean practices; you will set up daily labeling and packaging, supervise staff, and develop budgets and schedules to meet company needs. We offer a comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, 401K and paid time off.

Qualifications

• Must have good attention to detail and accuracy.
• Strong organizational skills.

• 5+ years of warehouse supervision experience.
• Experience with Lean Manufacturing a plus.

Responsibilities

• Maintain inbound traffic for ingredients, supplies and stock product
• Maintain execution of outbound traffic to meet customer orders
• Maintain safety, quality, CIP/OI, environmental and GMP programs
• Set up daily labeling/packaging requirements, shipments and receiving
• Develop annual budgets and packaging/shipping schedules to meet company needs
• Schedule and receive all packaging material for production
• Ensure all employee training sessions are held
• Supervise, train and schedule warehouse staff
• Develop new procedures to improve productivity
• Manage, develop and assess warehouse systems on a safety, cost, CI and customer service basis
• Other duties as assigned

The Warehouse Manager is responsible for the storage, inventory, labeling, distribution and shipping of our finished goods and materials. Experience in different packaging concepts and processes needed. Knowledge and demonstrative use of Lean Manufacturing skills a plus.

Qualifications:

• 5+ years’ experience as a group leader and/or supervisor in a warehouse environment

Starting wage range based on skills, abilities and experience from $90-$100k.
