Job summary

Seneca Foods Corporation in Wisconsin is seeking a Production Worker to perform general tasks under the supervision of the Production Supervisor. Responsibilities include weighing totes to the correct weight, closing and covering totes, cleaning spills, preventing overfilling, and assisting with removing totes from the line; shifts rotate and overtime may be required.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of different weights of products.
• Knowledge of different sizes and styles of fruit.
• Trained on Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).
• Trained and knowledgeable in the use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
• Must pass respiratory fitness test.

Responsibilities

• Weigh totes of product to the correct weight.

• Other duties as assigned by supervisor.

Position Summary

• Frequent standing and walking.
• Frequent climbing, bending, stooping and twisting.

• Ability to work under pressure, handle stress, and/or multi-task.
