Job summary

Breakthru Beverage Minnesota Beer, LLC is seeking a Warehouse Manager to lead daily warehouse operations, ensure inventory accuracy, and optimize schedules for efficient processing of inbound and outbound goods. You will train new staff on equipment use, monitor safety standards, and drive continuous improvements in workflows.

The role requires leadership of the warehouse team, coaching and evaluating performance, adherence to OSHA policies, and effective use of the Warehouse Management System.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in related field or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years in related area; supervisory experience.
• Proficient MS Office and other PC software.
• Strong verbal and written communication, diplomacy and customer service.
• Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Analytic and reporting capabilities.
• Sound judgement and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work in fast-paced, high-volume team.

Responsibilities

• Oversee warehouse operations for efficiency and issue resolution.
• Manage inbound receiving and put-away as Day Manager.
• Oversee returns, picking and loading; ensure efficiency as Night Manager.
• Set up and monitor daily replenishment tasks.
• Report and investigate damage to equipment, product, or facilities.
• Coordinate repair and service of equipment.
• Ensure timely completion of admin tasks like attendance and timekeeping.
• Ensure OSHA compliance and policy adherence.
• Manage warehouse staff; conduct coaching and evaluations.
• Lead the team with clear roles and expectations.
• Foster a positive culture and unified workforce.
• Ensure use of Warehouse Management System in daily tasks.
• Handle beverage alcohol product responsibly.
• Other duties as assigned.

Job Description Summary

The Warehouse Manager is responsible for the operations at a warehouse to ensure that all incoming and outgoing inventory is processed according to schedule. Their duties include preparing schedules for Warehouse Associates, training new employees on how to use machinery and monitoring compliance with safety standards.

Job Responsibilities

• Oversee all aspects of the warehouse, ensuring its efficient operation and troubleshooting problems as necessary.
• Oversee all receiving and put away of all in-bound product as the Day Manager.
• Oversee all returns, picking and loading tasks, ensuring proper put away, loading sequences and required efficiency levels are maintained as the Night Manager.
• Set up and monitor all replenishment tasks daily.
• Responsible for reporting and investigating damage to equipment, product, and facilities occurring throughout the warehouse.
• Coordinate the repair and service of equipment as necessary.
• Ensure the timely completion of all required operational and administrative tasks, including, but not limited to, attendance tracking, timekeeping, replenishment, waving, printing of labels, etc.
• Ensure adherence to policies and procedures, as well as OSHA standards.
• Responsible for managing all warehouse employees.
• Effectively manage the performance of subordinates by providing coaching, completing performance evaluations, and delivering performance counseling if necessary.
• Lead the Warehouse Team by example and clearly communicate roles and responsibilities, expectations, and deliverables.
• Foster a positive culture and unified workforce.
• Ensure that all warehouse personnel utilize the Warehouse Management System while performing their daily tasks.
• Responsibly handle beverage alcohol product.
• Other duties, as assigned by the jobholder’s supervisor, may also be required.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in related field and/or equivalent training and work experience
• Minimum of 5 years’ of experience in related area and some experience in a supervisory role
• Proficient PC skills using MS Office and other various computer programs including presentation software
• Must be a results-oriented professional with verbal/written communication skills using diplomacy and discretion as well as customer service skills
• Ability to multi-task, work independently and/or within a team, pay attention to detail and meet deadlines
• Analytic and Reporting skills
• Utilize sound judgement and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work in fast-paced, high-volume, team environment

Preferred Qualifications

• Complete working knowledge of Warehouse Management System

Physical Requirements

• While performing the duties of this job, the employee is required to remain in a stationary position at times; communicate, and operate a computer and telephone
• Occasionally carry & lift up to 65 pounds
• Occasionally reach overhead, squat and bend
• Occasionally walk and stand for extended periods of time
