DistributionNOW in Midland, TX is seeking a Warehouse Manager to lead the warehouse team and ensure efficient inventory, shipping, receiving, and safety compliance. You will direct staffing, workflow, and performance to meet deadlines and customer service goals.

The role requires hands-on leadership, strong organizational skills, and experience with SAP Inventory/Warehouse and MS Office. A valid driver's license and the ability to lift 50 pounds are essential.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Experience leading warehouse teams and conducting annual reviews.
• Understanding of basic process flow: receiving, transfers, shipping docs.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• Computer skills including MS Office and SAP Inventory / Warehouse.

Responsibilities

• Hire, train, manage, and evaluate warehouse employees.
• Adjust staffing levels as needed to increase productivity and profitability.
• Oversee Inventory Management, including Freight, Stock Transfers, Cycle Counts, and related reports.
• Meet deadlines while maintaining an accurate and efficient warehouse operation.
• Control storage and organization to maximize efficiency and customer service.
• Establish and monitor procedures for incoming and outgoing shipments.
• Maintain safety and physical condition of warehouse and equipment.
• Secure warehouse content against loss or damage.
• Cross-train into other areas of Operations and perform other duties as required.
• Load and unload trucks and prepare customer orders safely.
• Maintain certifications in Equipment Operation, Safety, and Hazardous Materials handling.

The Warehouse Manager will direct the efforts of warehouse employees. The Warehouse Manager will plan, control and direct all activities necessary for the efficient operation of all inventory management, order selecting, shipping, receiving, and general warehouse activities. Responsible for overseeing safety, warehouse layout, and all other aspects of the warehouse environment.

• Load and unload trucks and prepare customer orders, safely utilizing material handling equipment.
• Maintain knowledge and certifications in Equipment Operation, Safety, and Hazardous Materials handling.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

• Warehouse management experience leading teams, setting goals and conducting annual reviews.
• Understanding of basic process flow - receiving, materials transfers, shipping documents, etc.
• Must be able to physically lift up to 50 pounds
• Must have current, valid driver’s license and clean driving record at all times.
• Computer skills (MS Office – Excel & Word) and SAP Inventory / Warehouse.
