Job summary

DNOW is hiring a Warehouse Manager in Texas. You will lead warehouse staff, optimize inventory flow, and ensure safe, efficient operations across receiving, storage, and shipping.

Responsibilities include staffing, training, supervising cycle counts, maintaining equipment, and enforcing safety standards while maximizing customer service and on-time delivery. Strong leadership and SAP/Excel skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Warehouse management experience leading teams and conducting annual reviews.
• Understanding of basic process flow – receiving, materials transfers, shipping documents, etc.
• Must be able to physically lift up to 50 pounds.
• Must have current, valid driver’s license and clean driving record at all times.
• Computer skills (MS Office – Excel & Word) and SAP Inventory / Warehouse.

• Hire, train, manage, and evaluate warehouse employees.
• Adjust staffing levels to increase productivity and profitability.
• Oversee Inventory Management, including Freight, Stock Transfers, Cycle Counts, and related reports.
• Meet deadlines while maintaining an accurate and efficient warehouse operation.
• Control storage and organization for maximum efficiency and customer service.
• Establish and monitor procedures to verify incoming and outgoing shipments.
• Maintain physical condition of warehouse and equipment for safety and cleanliness.
• Secure warehouse content against loss or damage.
• Cross-train into other Operations areas and perform other duties as required.
• Load and unload trucks and prepare customer orders using material handling equipment.
• Maintain knowledge and certifications in Equipment Operation, Safety, and Hazardous Materials handling.

The Warehouse Manager will direct the efforts of warehouse employees. The Warehouse Manager will plan, control and direct all activities necessary for the efficient operation of all inventory management, order selecting, shipping, receiving, and general warehouse activities. Responsible for overseeing safety, warehouse layout, and all other aspects of the warehouse environment.
