Job summary

Schneider Electric in Lincoln, United States, seeks a Manager I, Warehouse Operations to lead daily warehouse activity, manage a dedicated team, and ensure accurate, efficient order fulfillment while upholding strict safety standards.

You will enforce HSE/5S, optimize workloads, align inventory with IT data, and drive training and performance improvements across the site.

Responsibilities

• Enforce HSE and 5S rules; report and manage incidents and near misses.
• Ensure compliance with quality system; apply processes to meet quality levels.
• Optimize daily/weekly workload balance and resources (storage and freight).
• Adjust MPH programs per customer priorities in ad-hoc systems.
• Oversee receiving, stocking, picking, material handling, shipping and waste management.
• Coordinate short-term actions with support functions.
• Organize training needs and manage team versatility per targets.
• Manage warehouse processes performance and team per SPS/SIM rules and plant cycles.
• Deploy SC Planning Central guidelines for inventory management.
• Ensure inventory accuracy through alignment of IT data and physical stock.
• Oversee yearly appraisals of all hourly employees.

Job description

Join us as a Manager I, Warehouse Operations and take charge of a dynamic warehouse environment. You'll lead daily operations, manage a dedicated team, and ensure every order is fulfilled accurately and efficiently while maintaining the highest safety standards.

What will you do?

• Enforce compliance with HSE and 5S rules throughout the sector, including reporting and managing incidents and near misses.
• Enforce compliance with quality system and proper appliance of the defined processes and procedures to meet the required quality level.
• Optimize daily/weekly workload balance/resources (internal, external storage and freight capacities).
• Adjust MPH (material providing and handling) programs according to customer priorities in the ad-hoc systems, (LDS, DISS, etc.).
• Ensure management of the logistics process receiving goods>stocking>picking> material handling>shipping finished goods and wastes.
• Synchronize support function on short term actions.
• Organize the training needs of teams and manage the versatility in accordance with the target defined.
• Manage warehouse processes performance and team according to SPS/SIM rules and cycle event of the plant.
• Deploy & implement SC Planning Central team guidelines for inventory management.
• Ensure inventory accuracy with permanent alignment between operations & inventory (IT data & physical situation).
• Manage yearly appraisal of all hourly employees within scope.
