Job summary

Randstad in New Jersey is seeking a Warehouse Operations Leader to oversee a team of associates, manage receiving, and maintain accurate inventory while upholding safety standards. You will coordinate material intake, labeling, and storage, and implement efficient warehouse practices.

Responsibilities

• Manage warehouse associates, monitor performance and ensure safe use of equipment.
• Coordinate reception of materials and ensure proper sorting, labeling, and storage per company standards.
• Design and implement an inventory tracking system to optimize inventory control procedures.
• Prepare detailed reports on inventory operations, stock levels, and adjustments.
• Establish warehouse practices and protocols to achieve an efficient warehouse.
• Ensure employees are trained on SOPs, equipment, all unit operations and systems.
• Coach and discipline the warehouse team; communicate job expectations and review contributions; enforce policies and procedures.
• Maintain a safe and clean working environment and follow safety procedures by complying with company procedures and policies.
• Work under the guidance of the Operations Manager to perform and complete the assigned duties in a timely manner.
