Job summary

QA1 is seeking a Warehouse Manager to lead our Lakeville, Minnesota facility, overseeing receiving, inventory control, and shipping while partnering with production, quality, and customer service teams. You will drive safety, quality, and continuous improvement on the floor and through data-driven initiatives.

The ideal candidate brings 5+ years of warehouse leadership, strong coaching and cross-functional collaboration skills, and experience with ERP systems.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years in leadership roles within warehouse, distribution, logistics, manufacturing, or supply chain operations.
  • Experience leading larger teams in fast-paced operational environments.
  • Proven track record driving continuous improvement initiatives and lean events.
  • Experience negotiating freight programs and transportation contracts.
  • Experience with digital warehouse technologies.
  • Strong OSHA safety knowledge and compliance.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and develop a team of ~16 warehouse professionals across receiving, inventory control, and shipping.
  • Oversee outbound and intercompany transportation, and manage carriers for TL/LTL/Small Parcel.
  • Foster safety, quality, and continuous improvement through daily huddles and problem-solving.
  • Partner with Operations, Quality, Customer Service, and other departments to ensure smooth product flow.
  • Drive inventory accuracy through cycle counting and best practices.
  • Coach and develop team members with training and onboarding.
  • Use technology and metrics to identify efficiency improvements.

What Will Help You Stand Out
  • Experience negotiating freight programs and transportation contracts
  • Experience with digital warehouse technologies
  • Experience supporting multi-site or intercompany warehouse operations
  • Familiarity with EOS (Entrepreneurial Operating System)

Work Schedule: Monday-Friday, generally between 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. Extended hours are rare.

What You Will Do
  • Lead and develop a team of approximately 16 warehouse professionals while overseeing all warehouse operations, including receiving, inventory control, material handling, shipping, and distribution activities that support production and customer fulfillment goals.
  • Manage outbound and intercompany transportation, and domestic, including the transportation management systems and carriers for TL, LTL, and Small Parcel in support of QA1’s service level and cost objectives.
  • Champion a culture of safety, quality, and continuous improvement through daily team huddles, problem-solving, process improvements, and performance management.
  • Partner with Operations, Quality, Customer Service, and other departments to ensure smooth product flow and exceptional customer experiences.
  • Drive inventory accuracy through cycle counting, inventory controls, process discipline, and warehouse best practices.
  • Develop team members through coaching, training, hiring, onboarding, and ongoing skill development while fostering a positive, people-centric culture.
  • Utilize technology, reporting, and operational metrics to identify opportunities for efficiency improvements and support strategic business initiatives.
The Critical Skills and Experience You’ll Need
  • High school diploma or equivalent; advanced education or equivalent experience preferred
  • 5+ years in leadership experience within warehouse, distribution, logistics, manufacturing, or supply chain operations.
  • Demonstrated success leading larger teams in fast-paced operational environments.
  • Proven track record driving continuous improvement initiatives, lean events, process optimization, and operational efficiency.
  • Strong change management skills with the ability to lead teams through new processes, systems, and business growth.
  • Experience analyzing freight spend, transportation performance, and cost-reduction opportunities.
  • Ability to balance strategic thinking with hands‑on leadership and a visible presence on the warehouse floor.
  • Strong understanding of workplace safety practices and OSHA requirements.
  • Strong communication, coaching, and relationship‑building skills.
  • Self‑directed, results‑oriented leader who fosters teamwork, accountability, and trust.
  • Someone people want to work with: a leader who is approachable, collaborative, and committed to helping others succeed.
  • Ability to meet physical requirements of the job including extended standing 8-10 hours a day with occasionally lifting and/or moving up to 50 lbs.
  • Demonstrable strong technical proficiency with Microsoft Office products and capable of quickly training and becoming proficient with ERP system (Syteline)

The base pay offered will be determined on factors such as experience, skills, training, location, certifications, education, and any applicable minimum wage requirements. Decisions will be determined on a case‑by‑case basis.
