Responsibilities

• Plan, implement, and organize Cedar Rapids warehouse operations with the Warehouse Operations Manager
• Manage, train, and evaluate warehouse staff and staffing needs
• Evaluate shipping processes, routes, and staffing
• Ensure compliance with warehousing, material handling, and shipping regulations
• Maintain warehouse equipment and facilities; arrange repairs and replacements
• Maintain cleanliness and safety in the warehouse, dock area, and grounds
• Plan resources and activities aligned with company objectives
• Ensure workplace health and safety requirements are met
• Coordinate transfers of products between branches, buildings, and customers
• Provide leadership, training, mentoring, and development for warehouse team

Position Title: Warehouse Manager Wage: Based on Experience Accelerate Professional Talent Solutions is seeking a highly qualified individual for the Warehouse Manager position in Cedar Rapids. The ideal candidate is an ambitious, hard-working individual who takes pride in serving customers and leading a team.

Warehouse Manager Responsibilities:

• Plan, implement, and organize all Cedar Rapids warehouse operations in partnership with the Warehouse Operations Manager
• Manage, train, and evaluate warehouse employees and determine staffing needs
• Evaluate shipping processes, including deliveries, routes, and staffing
• Comply with all warehousing, material handling, and shipping regulatory requirements
• Maintain the physical condition of the warehouse by inspecting equipment, arranging repairs, and requisitioning replacements
• Maintain the cleanliness and overall condition of the warehouse, dock area, and grounds
• Continuously plan warehouse resources and activities in alignment with company objectives and established targets
• Ensure workplace health and safety requirements are met
• Ensure the proper transfer of products between branches, buildings, and customers
• Carry out supervisory responsibilities for the Cedar Rapids warehouse in accordance with organizational policies, procedures, and applicable laws
• Facilitate communication between the warehouse, branches, departments, and senior management
• Conduct ongoing employee evaluations and assess staffing needs
• Provide leadership, training, mentoring, and development for warehouse team members

Requirements for Warehouse Manager:

• Bachelor's degree (B.A.) in a related field and/or three to five years of related experience and/or training; or an equivalent combination of education and experience
• Comprehensive computer skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Proven ability to implement process improvement initiatives
• Strong leadership, decision-making, and problem-solving skills
