Job summary

Position Overview

As Warehouse Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of warehouse management, including inventory control, shipping and receiving, staff supervision, and implementation of warehouse processes. You will ensure that daily operations run smoothly, safely, and efficiently while maintaining high standards of quality.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead, motivate, and manage warehouse staff to achieve operational goals, promote teamwork, and ensure high performance.
• Develop and implement effective warehouse procedures and best practices concerning storage, handling, and shipment of goods.
• Manage inventory accuracy through regular cycle counts, reconciliation, and reporting to prevent loss and maintain stock integrity.
• Coordinate with logistics, procurement, and other departments to optimize flow of materials and timely delivery of products.
• Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and company policies to maintain a safe working environment for all employees.
• Oversee maintenance of warehouse equipment and facilities to guarantee operational readiness and minimize downtime.
• Handle hiring, training, performance evaluations, and workforce scheduling to support business demands.
• Utilize warehouse management systems (WMS) and related technology effectively to streamline operations and provide accurate reporting.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives in warehouse processes to enhance productivity and reduce operational costs.

Qualifications and Skills

• Proven experience as a Warehouse Manager or in a similar operational leadership role.
• Strong knowledge of warehouse operations, inventory management, and logistics coordination.
• Familiarity with warehouse management software and technology.
