Job summary

Keefe Group, LLC seeks a Warehouse Operations Manager to oversee all warehouse functions including shipping, receiving, inventory, and policy administration at the distribution center.

You will hire, train, and supervise staff, review weekly payroll, ensure proper facility conditions, and manage contractor compliance while handling varied duties as required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Must be at least 18 years old with a valid driver's license.
• Strong supervisory skills and ability to lead teams effectively.
• Ability to work in a team environment and communicate across shifts.
• Ability to prioritize workload and adapt to changing priorities.
• Knowledge of Quality Procedures and packaging experience is a plus.
• Mechanical aptitude for high speed packaging equipment.
• Ability to work inside a corrections environment and lift up to 70 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Hires, orients, trains and issues corrective action to team members.
• Review and approve payroll on a weekly basis.
• Ensure warehouse is equipped with racking, lighting, climate control, and a proper work environment.
• Oversee shipping (UPS/FEDEX/international/trucking) operations.
• Oversee receiving and quality control processes.
• Manage the contractor compliance program.
• Supervise and train warehouse personnel.
• Perform other duties as needed by the business.

About This Position

The Warehouse Operation Manger is responsible for all functions of the warehouse including: shipping, receiving, inventory control, administering policies and programs and maintaining supplies for the Distribution center.

Tasks may include, but are not limited to the following:

• Hires, orients, trains and issues corrective action (when applicable) to team members
• Review and approve payroll on a weekly basis
• Ensuring warehouse is equipped with racking, proper lighting, heat and air, proper work environment and any other warehouse related items
• Shipping UPS/FED EX/international/trucking control
• Receiving, including quality control
• Managing the contractor compliance program
• Supervising and training warehouse personnel
• Other duties as determined by the needs of the business

What You'll Need

• Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university; or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Valid driver's license.
• Requires strong supervisory skills: a demonstrated ability to lead people and get results through others.
• Ability to work well in a team environment and create a team work environment by communicating effectively between shift/department.
• Ability to define problems and resolve them quickly.
• Ability to work well with ever changing priorities and situations.
• Ability to prioritize workload on a daily basis.
• Knowledge of Quality Procedures.
• Packaging experience a plus.
