Job description

We are looking for a highly organized and detail-oriented, bilingual, Warehouse Manager to coordinate the day-to-day operations of our Will Leather Goods warehouse. This role will oversee picking and packing, shipping and receiving, inventory, stock transfers, and regular quality control audits for both inbound and outbound product. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, extensive knowledge of warehouse operations, and the ability to drive a forklift while maintaining high standards of efficiency and safety.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Oversee Picking and Packing Operations:
  • Supervise and coordinate the picking and packing processes to ensure accuracy and efficiency in fulfilling orders.
  • Ensure that orders are packed according to specifications, with proper labeling and documentation.
  • Monitor order fulfillment to meet deadlines and ensure the timely shipment of all orders.
2. Shipping and Receiving:
  • Oversee the receiving process, ensuring all inbound products are checked for accuracy and quality.
  • Coordinate the shipment of orders to ensure on-time delivery to customers, stores, and other locations.
  • Maintain proper records of incoming and outgoing shipments, including tracking and documentation.
3. Inventory Control:
  • Perform regular cycle counts to ensure inventory accuracy and resolve discrepancies.
  • Manage stock transfers within the Warehouse Management System (WMS) to accommodate store orders and other needs.
4. Quality Control (QC) Audits:
  • Conduct regular QC audits for both incoming and outbound products to ensure quality standards are met.
  • Inspect products for defects or damages and document / report.
5. Warehouse Equipment Operation:
  • Safely operate a forklift to move, stack, and organize products within the warehouse.
  • Ensure that all equipment is maintained, and report any issues promptly.
  • Train team members on proper equipment handling and safety procedures.
6. Staff Oversight & Training:
  • Manage and motivate team, providing guidance, feedback, and training as needed.
  • Ensure that all staff members understand processes, safety protocols, and the proper use of equipment.
  • Monitor team performance and productivity, adjusting as needed to meet operational goals.
Qualifications:
  • Experience: 5+ years minimum experience managing a warehouse and/or Bachelors degree in related field.
Skills:
  • Proven experience in picking, packing, shipping, receiving, and inventory management.
  • Strong knowledge of Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and inventory tracking.
  • Ability to perform regular QC audits and resolve product discrepancies.
  • Ability to operate a forklift safely and efficiently (forklift certification preferred).
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks at once.
  • Excellent communication and leadership abilities, with the ability to train and motivate a team.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physically demanding tasks.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience in leather goods, fashion, or accessory industries.
  • Familiarity with cycle counting and inventory reconciliation processes.
  • Forklift certification or willingness to obtain.
  • Bilingual in Spanish is a plus.
Physical Requirements:
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and move packages or materials as necessary.
  • Ability to stand, walk, and operate warehouse equipment for extended periods.
