Qualifications

Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily receiving, warehousing, inventory, shipping, and distribution.
  • Lead, coach, and develop warehouse supervisors and staff.
  • Ensure inventory is accurately processed and documented.
  • Maintain accurate inventory levels and oversee cycle counts.
  • Ensure proper storage and FIFO rotation.
  • Coordinate with production to ensure materials are available.
  • Oversee outbound shipments and shipping documentation.
  • Support transportation scheduling and daily delivery coverage.
  • Monitor KPIs and identify cost reductions and efficiency gains.

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Warehouse Manager to oversee day-to-day warehouse, inventory, shipping, receiving, and distribution operations within a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

This position will lead warehouse personnel while ensuring efficient product flow, inventory accuracy, timely shipments, safety, and compliance with established operational procedures. The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader who is comfortable working on the warehouse floor, managing multiple priorities, and supporting an operation with extended hours.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee daily receiving, warehousing, inventory, shipping, and distribution activities.
  • Lead, coach, and develop warehouse supervisors, leads, and support staff.
  • Ensure incoming and outgoing inventory is accurately processed and properly documented.
  • Maintain accurate inventory levels and oversee cycle counts, audits, and replenishment needs.
  • Ensure proper inventory storage and rotation using FIFO practices.
  • Coordinate with production and other departments to ensure materials and finished products are available when needed.
  • Oversee outbound shipments, loading procedures, and required shipping documentation.
  • Support transportation scheduling and ensure daily delivery needs are appropriately covered.
  • Monitor warehouse KPIs, productivity, accuracy, and overall operational performance.
  • Identify opportunities for cost reduction, process improvement, and increased warehouse efficiency.
  • Maintain a safe, clean, and organized warehouse environment.
  • Lead employee training and reinforce operational policies and procedures.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable quality and food safety standards.
Qualifications
  • Previous warehouse management or operations leadership experience.
  • Experience supervising warehouse teams in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong knowledge of receiving, shipping, inventory control, and distribution processes.
  • Experience working within a manufacturing, production, food, or similar operational environment preferred.
  • Familiarity with warehouse safety, quality, and compliance procedures.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively under pressure.
  • Experience tracking warehouse KPIs and implementing process improvements.
  • Forklift knowledge or experience preferred.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule based on operational needs, including occasional evenings or weekends.
  • Ability to work in a hands-on environment and spend significant time on the warehouse floor.
