The Warehouse Manager is responsible for overseeing all warehouse operations, including inventory management, receiving, shipping, storage, employee supervision, equipment, and facility organization. This position ensures the warehouse operates efficiently, safely, and in compliance with company policies, regulatory requirements, and applicable safety, environmental, food safety, and GMP standards.
- Supervise and lead warehouse personnel, providing direction, training, and hands-on support as needed.
- Oversee the efficient daily operation of the warehouse, including receiving, shipping, storing, staging, and handling of inventory.
- Manage inventory in the best overall economic interest of the company.
- Oversee daily and monthly inventory counts and ensure accurate inventory records are maintained.
- Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies in a timely manner.
- Ensure no products enter or leave the warehouse without the required documentation and authorization.
- Determine appropriate storage locations for products based on inventory requirements, accessibility, safety, and available space.
- Ensure all required parts and materials are properly stocked and maintain appropriate inventory levels.
- Assist with loading and dispatching customer applicators and coordinate warehouse activities to support customer requirements.
- Oversee and participate in receiving, shipping, and storing inventory items.
- Provide oversight of warehouse equipment and ensure maintenance needs are identified and addressed.
- Maintain the warehouse in a clean, organized, safe, and secure condition.
- Monitor warehouse processes to improve efficiency, productivity, inventory accuracy, and overall operational performance.
- Complete hazardous material shipping documentation as required.
- Train drivers, warehouse employees, helpers, and customers on applicable transportation rules, regulations, and safe handling procedures.
- Ensure proper handling, storage, and movement of materials throughout the warehouse.
- Observe all safety rules and promote a strong safety culture among warehouse employees.
- Ensure compliance with health and occupational safety, environmental safety, food safety, legal regulations, and company requirements.
- Ensure compliance with the Company's Integrated Management Systems, including Production, Quality, Food Safety, and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).
- Identify and implement opportunities for continuous improvement within warehouse operations.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- 3+ years of warehouse, distribution, logistics, or inventory management experience.
- Previous warehouse supervisory or management experience required.
- Strong knowledge of inventory control, receiving, shipping, and warehouse operations.
- Experience with inventory management systems or ERP systems preferred.
- Knowledge of hazardous material shipping requirements and transportation regulations preferred.
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- Ability to train, coach, and develop warehouse employees.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records.
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and operate effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and warehouse/inventory management software preferred.

- Ability to lift and move materials as required.
- Ability to work safely around warehouse equipment, vehicles, and industrial materials.
