Job summary

DSJ Global is seeking a Logistics & Warehouse Operations Manager to lead warehouse, inventory, material flow, and distribution at a high-volume facility in Chicago.

You will drive safety, accuracy, and service performance while partnering with production, supply chain, and logistics teams. You will mentor supervisors and frontline staff, manage labor planning and budgets, and support continuous improvement and WMS initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 7+ years of warehouse, logistics, or supply chain operations experience.
• 5+ years of leadership experience managing both hourly and salaried employees.
• Manufacturing environment experience preferred.
• Hands-on experience supporting production replenishment and material flow to manufacturing operations.
• Knowledge of Lean, Continuous Improvement, inventory control, and warehouse optimization methodologies.
• Experience with ERP and Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).
• Strong analytical, communication, and people leadership skills.
• Oracle WMS experience is a plus.
• CLTD certification is preferred but not required.

Job description

A growing manufacturing organization is seeking a Logistics & Warehouse Operations Manager to lead warehouse, inventory, material flow, and distribution operations at a high-volume facility. This role will be responsible for driving operational excellence across receiving, repack, storage, replenishment, and shipping activities while ensuring safety, inventory accuracy, and service performance.

This position will initially focus on warehouse operations, production replenishment, and management of third-party logistics providers, with expanded responsibility for shipping and receiving operations as the organization continues to optimize its distribution network. The role will also play a key part in a future warehouse management system (WMS) implementation.
