About the Job

At Danone, manufacturing the best products and supplying them to meet demand is a key driver for our plant teams. We are seeking a Warehouse Manager (internally called Warehouse Leader) for our Bridgeton, New Jersey beverage manufacturing facility. You will lead the warehouse operations, overseeing the flow of ingredients and finished products, and serve as a leader to support teams within the plant. Your responsibilities include maintaining high standards for safety, GMPs, food safety, SOPs, and work instructions, while delivering performance metrics (SQCDMN).

Responsibilities

1. Manage all operational activities of the warehouse, including four 12-hour shifts and an 8-hour day shift.
2. Achieve daily, weekly, monthly, and annual goals related to SQCDMN through team efforts.
3. Manage overtime effectively, aiming for under 20% monthly overtime, and identify opportunities for process improvements.
4. Provide leadership and development for warehouse staff, including shipping, receiving, truck scheduling, and labor management, through coaching and motivation.
5. Drive efficiency improvements in layout, inventory management, picking/packing, and leverage technology and lean practices.
6. Coordinate with production and shipping schedules, managing risks and overtime to ensure smooth operations.
7. Control and manage warehouse inventory, including raw materials and finished goods.
8. Perform month-end activities such as inventory reconciliation, performance review, and maintenance of warehouse operations.
9. Collaborate with QA to manage product releases and resolve quality issues promptly.
10. Ensure proper recording of returns and manage space requirements, including third-party inventory to maintain FIFO compliance.
11. Use root cause analysis tools to address issues and realign warehouse goals.
12. Support food safety, quality, compliance, and employee programs, and develop KPI metrics for performance tracking.
13. Obtain forklift certification to train staff and promote safety and efficiency.
14. Foster a positive team environment and ensure effective communication through daily meetings and scheduled reviews.
15. Enforce safety regulations (WISE2) to ensure a safe working environment.

Work Hours

Monday - Friday, 7:00 AM - 5:00 PM, with flexibility for evenings, weekends, and holidays to support a 24/7 operation, including leadership of both 8-hour and 12-hour shifts.
