Zurn Elkay Water Solutions is seeking a Maintenance Tradesperson I for our warehouse operations. You'll maintain, troubleshoot, and repair building systems, material handling equipment, and facility infrastructure to keep the distribution center running smoothly.

This role requires a high school diploma or GED and 2+ years of warehouse maintenance experience; forklift certification is a plus. You’ll work in a fast-paced environment with safety regulations, write maintenance logs, and support

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 2+ years of maintenance experience in a warehouse, distribution center, or industrial environment preferred.
• Mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic systems knowledge.
• Experience with conveyors, dock equipment, or automated warehouse systems is a plus.
• Ability to read schematics, manuals, and maintenance documentation.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on warehouse equipment, including conveyor systems, dock doors, dock levels, racking, and wrap machines
• Maintain building systems such as lighting, electrical outlets, plumbing, and HVAC support
• Inspect warehouse floors, racking, safety guards, and walkways for damage or hazards and complete repairs as needed
• Respond quickly to maintenance requests and equipment breakdowns to minimize operational downtime
• Coordinate with external contractors and vendors for specialized repairs or inspections
• Follow all OSHA, safety, and lockout/tagout (LOTO) procedures
• Maintain accurate maintenance logs, work orders, and preventive maintenance schedules
• Support warehouse layout changes, equipment installations, and facility upgrades
