Job summary

Zurn Elkay Water Solutions Corporation is seeking a Maintenance Tradesperson for our warehouse. You will maintain and repair building systems, material handling equipment, and facility infrastructure to ensure safe, efficient operations.

The role involves preventive and corrective maintenance on conveyors, dock equipment, HVAC, lighting, and electrical systems, with a focus on minimizing downtime and ensuring compliance with OSHA and LOTO procedures.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• 2+ years maintenance experience in a warehouse, distribution center, or industrial environment preferred.
• Able to read schematics, manuals, and maintenance documentation.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with conveyor systems, dock equipment, or automated warehouse systems is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on warehouse equipment, including conveyor systems, dock doors, dock levels, racking, and wrap machines.
• Maintain building systems such as lighting, electrical outlets, plumbing, and HVAC support.
• Inspect warehouse floors, racking, safety guards, and walkways for damage or hazards and complete repairs as needed.
• Respond quickly to maintenance requests and equipment breakdowns to minimize operational downtime.
• Coordinate with external contractors and vendors for specialized repairs or inspections.
• Follow all OSHA, safety, and lockout/tagout (LOTO) procedures.
• Maintain accurate maintenance logs, work orders, and preventive maintenance schedules.
• Support warehouse layout changes, equipment installations, and facility upgrades.
