Job summary

Snelling Staffing is seeking an experienced Industrial Maintenance Technician to join a fast-paced warehouse and distribution facility in the Dallas/Lancaster area. The ideal candidate will have strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills, experience maintaining industrial equipment, and the ability to perform preventive maintenance and repairs to minimize downtime.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of industrial maintenance or facilities maintenance experience.
• Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting abilities.
• Experience with conveyors, motors, and warehouse equipment.
• Ability to read electrical wiring diagrams and use diagnostic tools safely.
• Basic knowledge of preventive maintenance and facility repairs.
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and teamwork skills.
• Dependable attendance and punctuality.
• Ability to work independently and prioritize maintenance tasks.
• Flexibility for overtime, weekends, and scheduled shutdowns.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair mechanical and electrical equipment, including conveyors, motors, and packaging machinery.
• Perform preventive maintenance, equipment inspections, and routine servicing.
• Complete general facility repairs, including lighting, plumbing, and dock doors.
• Maintain accurate documentation of repairs, parts used, and maintenance activities through a work order system.
• Follow all safety procedures, including Lockout/Tagout (LOTO).
• Collaborate with maintenance and operations teams to reduce equipment downtime.
• Identify potential equipment issues and recommend corrective actions.
