Job summary

Walmart maintains and repairs distribution center equipment and facilities, performing preventative maintenance to ensure reliability and safety. You’ll use a CMMS, read technical drawings, and work with others to keep highly automated systems running efficiently.

The role requires experience in electronics-based maintenance, ammonia refrigeration, and the ability to troubleshoot complex issues while adhering to safety policies and teamwork expectations.

Qualifications

• Maintenance Technician coursework or certification in electronic technology with 2 years industrial maintenance experience OR 3 years in electronic tech maintenance.
• 1 year ammonia refrigeration experience; RETA CARO/CIRO certifications within 30 months are expected.

Responsibilities

• Perform repairs and preventative maintenance on distribution Center equipment and building per PM policies.
• Use CMMS to record work history, parts usage, and workload; read blueprints/electrical schematics to repair equipment.
• Troubleshoot complex equipment problems and collaborate with operations and other technicians.
