Job summary

Walmart Inc. is seeking a Technician, Facility Services General Maintenance, to perform routine preventive maintenance ensuring safety and appearance of facilities and equipment. You will inspect, repair, document activities, and manage work orders while coordinating with contractors.

The role requires adherence to safety regulations, operation of heavy machinery, and effective teamwork to support continuous improvement in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Vocational or technical certification or equivalent experience.
• 2+ years in maintenance or related field preferred.
• Knowledge of safety regulations such as OSHA/EPA.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine preventive maintenance to ensure safety and functionality.
• Inspect, clean, and repair facilities and equipment; document wear and repairs.
• Manage work orders, schedules, and contractor coordination with accuracy.
• Operate heavy machinery and company vehicles following safety procedures.
• Order parts, track inventory, submit warranty claims, and process invoices.
• Identify hazards and take corrective actions to maintain a safe environment.
• Collaborate with teams to implement process improvements.
