Job summary

Walmart is seeking a General Maintenance Technician to diagnose, repair, and perform preventative maintenance on commercial equipment across Walmart stores. You will develop preventive maintenance schedules, complete PMs on time, and train Store Associates in equipment care and cleaning.

Responsibilities include minor repairs on facilities and equipment, routine maintenance for safety and function, and managing work orders with proper documentation. CDL eligibility is preferred.

Qualifications

• 3 years' experience in maintenance.
• Valid state-issued driver’s license for at least 3 years with a clean driving record and ability to pass a Motor Vehicle Report (MVR).
• Eligible for a Commercial Driver's License (CDL).
• Commitment to safety and quality in maintenance tasks.

Responsibilities

• Perform minor repairs on facilities, equipment, or fixtures (plumbing, electrical, carpentry, food equipment).
• Complete routine maintenance to ensure safety and proper functionality.
• Manage work orders and maintenance schedules with required documentation.
