Job summary
Southern Glazer's Wine & Spirits is seeking a Warehouse Technician to oversee equipment operation and general facility maintenance at our Katy, TX location. You will monitor performance and implement programs to improve operational metrics.
Responsibilities include preventive maintenance on conveyors and automation, troubleshooting mechanical/electrical issues, and coordinating major repairs with vendors. A HS diploma and 1 year of experience are required.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalency plus 1 year of experience.
- Perform preventive maintenance on conveyors and warehouse equipment.
- Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and plumbing issues.
- Operate forklift, pallet jacks, and battery change stations.
- Able to lift up to 48 pounds and work overtime as needed.
Responsibilities
- Perform preventive maintenance on conveyors, automation, and warehouse equipment.
- Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical, plumbing, and electrical issues.
- Perform minor building maintenance.
- Ensure proper operation of battery charger racks.
- Perform repairs on conveyors and barcode readers.
- Schedule major repairs with outside vendors.
- Maintain facility grounds and lighting, keeping areas safe and clean.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
