Job summary

Southern Glazer’s Wine and Spirits, North America’s largest beverage distributor, is seeking a full-time warehouse technician to oversee equipment operation and general facility maintenance. You will perform preventive maintenance on conveyors and automation, troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and plumbing issues, and coordinate major repairs with outside vendors to keep operations running smoothly.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalency plus 1 year of experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance tasks on conveyors, automation, and other warehouse equipment.
• Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical, plumbing, and/or electrical issues.
• Perform minor building maintenance.
• Ensure proper operation of battery charger racks.
• Perform repairs as needed on all conveyors and bar code readers.
• Schedule major repairs with outside vendors.
• Maintain facility grounds including keeping sidewalks free from snow, ice, or other debris and replacing office and warehouse light bulbs.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
