Job summary

Southern Glazer's Wine & Spirits is seeking an overnight Facilities Mechanic to maintain and troubleshoot advanced material handling systems in a fast-paced distribution center. The role focuses on safety, reliability, and ongoing performance improvements within a team that values operational excellence.

You will inspect, repair, and optimize conveyors, ASRS, and warehouse equipment, while following OSHA standards and company procedures.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalency plus 1 year of experience.
• MS Office familiarity and/or software applications related to job functions.
• Excellent interpersonal, customer service, analytical/problem solving, problem management, presentation development, and communications skills.
• Forklift operating experience or certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair electric order pickers, electric reach trucks, and propane forklifts.
• Ensure warehouse systems and equipment meet production and shipping goals.
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and repair mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, electronic, and electrical equipment.
• Perform preventive maintenance and update repair logs.
• Maintain parts inventory and order parts as needed.
• Adhere to OSHA regulations and safety policies.
