Job summary

Ryder System, Inc. is seeking a Warehouse Maintenance Technician in Grovetown, GA to keep our warehouse equipment running safely and efficiently. You will handle preventive maintenance and repairs on fleet tools within a clean, safe environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Strong background in maintenance repair and preventive maintenance.
• Good organizational, communication, and planning skills.
• Basic computer and parts inventory system skills.
• Aptitude to investigate and solve mechanical issues.

Responsibilities

• Complete routine lubrications, repairs and troubleshooting of mechanical warehouse equipment.
• Assist and monitor all work performed by outside contractors.
• Maintain inventory controls for cost-effective operations.
• Schedule and complete preventative maintenance procedures.
• Ensure safety standards comply with company, local, state and federal guidelines.
• Monitor and maintain grounds and building systems.
• Location-specific requirements may include equipment operation or certification.
• Handle special projects as assigned.

Ryder is hiring a Warehouse Maintenance Technician in Grovetown, Georgia — offering weekly pay, excellent benefits, and a career you can feel good about.

Warehouse Positions Pay Weekly

• Hourly Pay: $22.50 per hour
• Overtime Pay: $33.75 per hour
• Schedule: Monday-Friday 6:00am - 2:30pm, with occasional overtime mandated during peak seasons

Ryder Warehouse Associates work in clean, organized, and well-run facilities to provide the safest supply chain environment.

Product Handling and Equipment

• Product Being Handled: Tractor parts
• Equipment Being Used: Reach Truck, Sit Down forklift, Scissor Lift, Order Picker/Cherry Picker

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Strong background in maintenance repair and preventative maintenance programs
• Good organizational, communication, and planning skills
• Basic computer and parts inventory system skills
• Aptitude to investigate and problem-solve various mechanical issues
