Job summary

HD Supply Management, LLC (USA) seeks a maintenance associate to oversee, maintain, and perform non-skilled repairs within a distribution center. You will collaborate with vendors on more complex tasks, ensuring a safe working environment and timely status updates on maintenance work orders.

The role involves basic upkeep across painting, plumbing, electrical, lighting, and HVAC systems, with supervision and adherence to established processes. Overnight travel is expected to be minimal.

Qualifications

• Experience in basic building maintenance and ability to inspect and address routine issues.
• Knowledge of painting, plumbing, electrical and HVAC maintenance is preferred.
• Understanding of mechanical building construction for commercial properties is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Perform basic maintenance tasks or coordinate with vendors for more complex work.
• Assist with painting, plumbing, electrical lighting, HVAC, and repairs on equipment.
• Maintain a safe, clean work environment for distribution center staff.
• Provide status updates on maintenance work orders and reports to management.
• Support parts inventory management and report maintenance problems to supervisor.
• Operate material handling and other powered equipment as needed.
