HD Supply is seeking a maintenance-focused professional to oversee and perform non-skilled repairs within our distribution centers in New Jersey. The role includes basic upkeep, working with vendors on complex tasks, and ensuring a safe, clean environment for warehouse teams.

You will perform inspections, report on repair status, support general warehouse duties, manage inventory for parts, and operate warehouse machinery while ensuring proper handling of hazardous materials.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or GED strongly preferred.
• Specialized skills training/certification may be required.
• Generally, 2-5 years of experience in area of responsibility.

Responsabilités

• Oversees, maintains, and performs non-skilled repairs on equipment and other structures within a distribution center.
• Completes basic building maintenance tasks or works with vendors on more complex tasks, including painting, plumbing, electrical lighting, HVAC, and material handling equipment repairs.
• Maintains a safe and clean working environment for distribution associates.
• Performs limited preventative maintenance inspections on assigned warehouse equipment assets and buildings.
• Delivers equipment status reports on open and closed maintenance work orders.
• Provides operational support for general warehouse duties.
• Assists with parts inventory management and reports maintenance problems to management.
• Operates material handling equipment, battery equipment, and other powered equipment.
• Ensures hazardous materials are properly stored, managed, and maintained.
