Job summary

Unifi Aviation, LLC in Atlanta, GA is hiring a Warehouse Mail Agent responsible for hauling, moving, loading, unloading, sorting and documenting U.S. postal mail within the facility.

You will operate motorized equipment such as tugs and forklifts to position conveyances and ensure accurate mail distribution. Candidates must pass a background check and drug test, be at least 18, and have a high school diploma or GED.

Responsibilities

• Haul, move, load, unload, sort, examine, secure, document arrival, sortation, and distribution of U.S. postal mail.
• Drive motorized equipment (tug, forklift, etc.) to move conveyances within the warehouse.
• Read mail codes, sort mail for loading into outbound/local conveyances.
• Use scan gun to record mail received/distributed; match manifests and deliver sorted mail.

Physical Demands/Requirements

• Must be able to lift / carry / push / pull and move items of 70 pounds and/or more on a regular basis and repetitively lift weights of 40 to 50 pounds on raised surfaces.
• Must be able to walk, climb, bend, kneel, crawl, and stoop on a frequent basis and for extended periods.
• Note: Depending upon the location, a few various positions may exist within the mail operation. The tasks listed below may/may not be performed in each of those positions. Other duties may occur and will be assigned by the Supervisor or Manager.
