Responsibilities

• Collaborate with transportation, customers, HR and other departments.
• Regularly walk the facility to keep it organized and safe.
• Report on performance and staffing needs to senior leadership.

Warehouse Logistics Manager – Stockton, CA | $90,000/year

About the Role

Veloz is hiring an experienced Warehouse Logistics Manager to lead daily operations at a Stockton, CA facility. You'll own the overall performance of the operation, including team leadership, productivity, safety, quality, staffing, inventory and customer service.

We're looking for a hands‑on leader who has run fast‑paced warehouse, distribution, fulfillment or logistics operations. You should be able to juggle multiple priorities, build a high‑performing team and find practical fixes that improve efficiency and service. Amazon experience is highly preferred, especially in high‑volume fulfillment or distribution with a strong focus on metrics.

Schedule

• Full-time, Monday–Friday
• Typical shifts: 10:00 AM–7:00 PM, 12:00 PM–8:00 PM or 7:00 AM–7:00 PM, based on business needs
• Flexibility for occasional extended hours to keep leadership coverage in place

What You’ll Do

• Lead the Stockton facility and oversee daily operations
• Coach, develop and hold the warehouse team accountable to performance and company standards
• Make sure productivity, quality, accuracy and service-level goals are met every day
• Manage staffing, scheduling, attendance, training, performance management and workforce planning
• Track KPIs and build action plans to improve productivity, efficiency and quality
• Oversee safe, efficient handling, staging, storage and shipping of product
• Keep inventory accurate and processes that support it running well
• Build a strong safety culture and keep the facility in compliance with OSHA and company safety policies
• Find the root cause of operational problems and put corrective actions in place
• Drive process improvements that reduce errors and raise facility performance
• Work closely with transportation, customers, recruiting, HR and other departments
• Walk the facility regularly to keep it organized, clean, safe and efficient
• Report on performance, staffing needs, challenges and improvement plans to senior leadership
• Build a culture of accountability, teamwork, safety and continuous improvement
• Support business growth and operational changes as needed

What You Bring

• 3+ years of experience in warehouse management, distribution, fulfillment, logistics or a related operation
• Amazon experience (highly preferred)
• Proven track record managing warehouse or distribution operations and leading teams
• Strong leadership, with the ability to motivate, coach and hold people accountable
• Experience managing staffing, scheduling, productivity, safety, quality and operational performance
• Solid knowledge of receiving, inventory, picking, staging, loading and shipping
• Comfort working with KPIs and performance metrics
• Strong problem‑solving and decision‑making skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced, high‑volume environment
• Excellent verbal and written communication
• Strong organization and time management
• Experience with warehouse management systems (WMS), Microsoft Office and other operational software (preferred)
• Flexibility to adjust your schedule based on business needs

Pay

• $90,000 per year
