Job summary

Verus Aerospace in Anaheim, CA is seeking a Shipping and Receiving Clerk to support warehouse operations by receiving, inspecting, and routing materials and entering receipts into the MRP system. You will assist with cycle counts and inventory.

Responsibilities include preparing outbound shipments, managing returned goods, rotating stock by expiration, and helping with order entry, picking, packing, and mail distribution. Strong organizational and forklift skills are valued.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Must have experience working in a Warehouse environment.
• Must have MRP experience, Visual experience a plus.
• Must have inventory experience.
• Strong problem-solving skills.
• Must be able to operate materials handling equipment as needed (fork lift, pallet jack, etc.).

Responsibilities

• Receive, inspect, verify, process and route all materials into the facility and off-site facilities, and enter the receipts in the Materials Management software system.
• Prepares shipments, including documentation, for outbound shipments; manages Returned Goods per SOP.
• Delivers stock to the appropriate staging area for departments.
• Rotates stock by receipt date and expiration dates to ensure proper stock rotation and use prior to expiration.
• Notes short-dated materials on receipt and reports to Warehouse Manager for action.
• Assists in cycle count and full physical inventory.
• Assists in order entry, picking, packing, and delivery of internal and external orders.
• Assists in preparation, receipt, and distribution of internal, inbound, and external mail.
• Performs other duties as required.
