Responsibilities

• Perform duties at the highest level of safety.
• Operate forklift for stocking, loading and organizing materials in warehouse as needed (up to 50%).
• Complete a thorough load check on your truck before leaving, ensuring that all delivery materials and quantities are accurate and secured.
• Perform vehicle pre-trip inspections in compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
• Adhere to the delivery schedule and job directives while prioritizing safety.
• Treat customers in a friendly and professional manner.
• Provide the customer with an invoice on delivery and collect COD payments.
• Complete and file logs and required government paperwork accurately.

Description

RiverStone Group, Inc. has an immediate full-time opening for a local delivery driver / materials handler at our Building Materials location in Moline, IL.

A delivery driver is responsible for transporting and dropping off residential and commercial building materials while providing professional customer service. This is a full-time, hourly position working 40 to 60 hours per week, 5/6 days per week based on season. Candidates must be dependable and available to work overtime as needed. This position does not require over the road travel.

Candidates must have the ability to perform heavy lifting and rigorous physical activity. A candidate holding a current CDL is preferred, but on the job training will be provided for an individual displaying ability and eagerness to learn.

Major Driver responsibilities include:

• Performing all duties at the highest level of safety
