Job summary

RiverStone Group, Inc. in Moline, IL has an immediate full-time opening for a local delivery driver / materials handler at our Building Materials location. This hourly role involves transporting residential and commercial building materials, forklift use, and ensuring safety and accurate loads.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• A focus on safety and a strong work ethic.
• Experience driving a boom truck and/or dump truck.
• Ability to obtain and maintain valid CDL license.

Responsibilities

• Perform duties at the highest level of safety.
• Operate forklift for stocking, loading and organizing materials in warehouse as needed (up to 50%).
• Complete a thorough load check on your truck before leaving, ensuring that all delivery materials and quantities are accurate and secured.
• Perform vehicle pre-trip inspections in compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
• Adhere to the delivery schedule and job directives while prioritizing safety.
• Treat customers in a friendly and professional manner.
• Provide the customer with an invoice on delivery and collect COD payments.
• Complete and file logs and required government paperwork accurately.
