Randstad is hiring a dedicated loader/unloader in Dawsonville, GA. This role emphasizes speed, stamina, and precision in a fast-paced distribution environment with a focus on reliable scheduling and competitive compensation.

You will perform high-volume manual loading/unloading, operate pallet jacks and hand trucks, verify shipments, and work with dock teams to hit daily throughput targets while following strict safety guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Perform continuous, high-volume manual loading and unloading of freight, goods, and containerized cargo.
• Operate pallet jacks and hand trucks to move and stage materials within the dock area.
• Verify shipment quantities, identify damages, and ensure safe stacking and handling.
• Follow safety regulations and use proper lifting techniques throughout the shift.
• Collaborate with dock supervisors and receiving teams to meet daily throughput targets.

Your responsibilities:

• Perform continuous, high-volume manual loading and unloading of freight, goods, and containerized cargo from various vehicles with efficiency and precision.
• Operate essential manual and powered material handling equipment, specifically pallet jacks and hand trucks, to quickly move and stage materials within the dock area.
• Maintain meticulous attention to detail by verifying shipment quantities, identifying damages, and ensuring all material stacking adheres to strict safety and integrity standards.
• Actively comply with all safety regulations, prioritizing the use of correct lifting techniques throughout the entire shift to maintain personal health and team security.
• Collaborate effectively with dock supervisors and receiving teams to achieve daily throughput targets and maintain smooth operational flow.
