Job summary

Randstad USA in Dawsonville, GA is seeking an experienced pallet jack operator who thrives on high-speed throughput on busy docks. This role offers consistent, reliable hours with a focus on productivity and safety.

You will load, unload, and stage hundreds of pallets per shift, work directly on receiving and shipping docks to manage inbound and outbound pallet flow, and support cycle counts and inventory checks as needed. The shift runs 07:30 AM - 04:00 PM.

Qualifications

• PIT test passage is required.

Responsibilities

• Move palletized inventory using pallet jack in a high-traffic dock.
• Manage inbound/outbound pallet flow on receiving and shipping docks.
• Perform putaway and retrieval to designated zones.
• Operate pallet jack in narrow aisles while ensuring pedestrian safety.
• Assist cycle counts and inventory checks with EPJ as needed.

Your responsibilities:

• Master the movement of palletized inventory in a high-traffic environment, using the pallet jack to quickly load, unload, and stage hundreds of pallets per shift.
• Work directly on the receiving and shipping docks to manage inbound and outbound pallet flow, minimizing congestion and downtime.
• Execute accurate putaway and retrieval procedures, ensuring inventory is correctly placed and accessible in designated zones.
• Operate the powered pallet jack with precision when navigating narrow aisles and staging lanes, prioritizing the safety of pedestrian traffic.
• Assist supervisors in cycle counting and physical inventory checks, using the EPJ to move and reorganize stock as necessary.

qualifications:

• Successful performance on a Powered Industrial Truck (PIT) Test.
