Sysco in California is seeking a Warehouse Associate to handle loading, unloading, receiving, put‑away, and replenishments. The role requires working in freezer, cooler and dry environments with strict safety standards and PWMs.

You will use RF scanners to document receipts, manage inventory, and report issues to supervision. Responsibilities include maintaining accuracy of records, operating forklifts and pallet jacks safely, and ensuring cleanliness of work areas.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Must pass a functional capacity test.
• Must be able to work effectively in a team environment.
• Must be able to communicate effectively with supervision, management and co-workers.
• Must be able to observe and to communicate those observations verbally and in written form to others responsible for the equipment operation and maintenance.

Responsabilités

• Ensure pallets received meet defined requirements.
• Enter/scan accurately upon item receipt the LPN, catch-weight, manufacture date, expiration date, etc. into the warehouse management system utilizing RF equipment.
• Record all overages, shortages and damages on the OS&D form.
• Inspect product being moved for shortages, damage, quality, or deterioration of packing and report to supervisor.
• Operate appropriate MHE, such as forklifts and pallet jacks, in a safe and orderly manner to minimize accidents and injuries.
• Maintain neatness and cleanliness of assigned work areas and travel aisles.
