Job summary

Sysco Jacksonville is seeking a Warehouse Associate to support general warehouse functions, including loading, unloading, receiving, put-away, and order picking in freezer, cooler, and dry environments.

The role requires certification in warehouse operations, ability to operate MHE like forklifts, and adherence to PWMs and safety rules. You will work under supervision to meet productivity goals while maintaining clean, organized work areas.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old and pass a functional capacity test.
• Ability to work effectively in a team and communicate with supervision.
• Experience with material handling equipment is required or obtainable.
• Ability to follow safety policies and PWMs and operate MHE safely.

Responsibilities

• Ensure pallets meet defined requirements and are properly received.
• Enter/scan LPN, catch-weight, dates, and weights into the WMS using RF devices.
• Record item counts and weights against bills of lading and invoices.
• Monitor temperature in cooler/freezer and report deviations per PWMs.
• Operate and maintain MHE (forklifts, pallet jacks) safely and report issues.
