Job summary

Vistar is hiring a Forklift Operator to maintain efficient product flow in our multi-temperature distribution environment. You will move pallets, stage freight, and replenish pick slots while adhering to GMP and safety standards.

The role requires standing, operating a stand-up forklift, and performing quality checks throughout shifts, with occasional overtime. Benefits start Day 1 and include a supportive team culture and safe work practices.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of warehouse and/or distribution work experience.
• 1+ years of stand-up forklift experience.
• Must be able to operate stand-up forklift.
• Must be able to work the scheduled times and required overtime.
• Able to lift 10-35 lbs and up to 60-90 lbs.
• Able to work in multi-temperature environments (cooler, freezer, dry).
• Pass post offer drug test and criminal background check.

Responsibilities

• Locates proper slot on storage racks and sets pallets in place with forklift or hand stack items.
• Counts incoming freight in staging area and transports to freezer with forklift/pallet jack.
• Replenishes pick slots with outgoing stock according to next day’s work orders.
• Rotates stock and removes outdated inventory per policy.
• Disperses over-stocked items to available slots.
