Titan Electric Companies in Nashville is seeking a Shipping/Receiving Associate to oversee receiving, shipping, and storeroom operations for large-scale projects. You will coordinate with suppliers, track orders, and help manage purchase records on site.

Qualifications

  • Must possess a clear driving record and be able to drive a company vehicle to transport materials on and off project sites.
  • Forklift experience required.
  • Must be able to sit, stand, bend, crouch, kneel, and walk for extended periods.
  • Must be able to lift 60 lbs.
  • Good organizational, multi-tasking, and prioritizing skills.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Basic understanding of Microsoft Office (Word and Excel).
  • Previous shipping/receiving or material handling experience preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for the efficient operation of receiving areas, shipping areas, supply storerooms, and warehouses in accordance with applicable supply procedures and verbal instructions.
  • Set up and maintain efficient storage in supply areas as assigned.
  • Follow up with suppliers, as needed, to confirm or change orders.
  • Assist with updating internal databases with order details (dates, vendors, and quantities).
  • Responsible for loading, unloading, and sorting of packages of various sizes, including tools, parts, assemblies, equipment, and other electrical supplies.
  • Track orders and ensure timely delivery of packaged goods.
  • Aid with purchase orders, shipping schedules, and purchase records.

Jointly responsible with the Project Manager for the overall success of any project. As part of our team, you oversee multiple crews and implement the installation of large-scale projects. You manage work sequencing, interpret blueprints and schematics, and ensure safe and timely completion of all projects.

This role requires strong leadership and organizational skills, and our ideal candidate possesses significant prior experience organizing and administering multiple crews on large work sites. You should have ample experience with installation and construction processes, as well as experience with blueprint reading, electrical schematics, wiring, conduit work, and thorough knowledge of workplace safety practices.
