Titan Electric in Nashville is seeking a reliable Material Handler to support receiving, storage, and distribution of tools and electrical supplies on busy job sites. You will play a crucial role in keeping materials flowing to crews safely and on schedule.

The role requires forklift experience, a clean driving record, and the ability to lift up to 60 lbs. Proficiency with Microsoft Office and strong organizational skills are a plus in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Oversee receiving areas, shipping areas, storerooms and warehouses
• Set up and maintain efficient storage in supply areas

• Update internal databases with order details (dates, vendors, quantities)
• Load, unload and sort packages including tools and electrical supplies
• Track orders and ensure timely delivery of packaged goods
• Assist with purchase orders, shipping schedules and records

Jointly responsible with the Project Manager for the overall success of any project. As part of our team, you oversee multiple crews and implement the installation of large-scale projects. You manage work sequencing, interpret blueprints and schematics, and ensure safe and timely completion of all projects.

This role requires strong leadership and organizational skills, and our ideal candidate possesses significant prior experience organizing and administering multiple crews on large work sites. You should have ample experience with installation and construction processes, as well as experience with blueprint reading, electrical schematics, wiring, conduit work, and thorough knowledge of workplace safety practices.

• Responsible for the efficient operation of receiving areas, shipping areas, supply storerooms, and warehouses in accordance with applicable supply procedure and verbal instructions.
• Set up and maintain efficient storage in supply areas as assigned.
• Follow up with suppliers, as needed, to confirm or change orders.
• Assist with updating internal databases with order details (dates, vendors, and quantities).
• Responsible for loading, unloading, and sorting of packages of various sizes. Including tools, parts, assemblies, equipment, and other electrical supplies.
• Track orders and ensure timely delivery of packaged goods
• Aid with purchase orders, shipping schedules, and purchase records
• Must possess a clear driving record an be able to drive company vehicle to transport materials on and off project sites
• Forklift experience required
• Must be able to sit, stand, bend, crouch, kneel, and walk for extended periods
• Must be able to lift 60 lbs.
• Good organizational, multi-tasking, and prioritizing skills
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Basic understanding of Microsoft Office (Word and Excel)
• Previous shipping/receiving or material handling experience preferred
