Job summary

The La-Z-Boy Incorporated team is seeking a Warehouse Lead to guide and develop a team of Warehouse Associates in our distribution operations. This role ensures the Z-Dock processes run efficiently, while maintaining safety and security of goods in transit and storage.

You will schedule work, train staff, monitor performance, and uphold RDC procedures. A High School diploma or GED and Forklift Certification are required; travel is not expected.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED with 0-2 years of relevant experience, or equivalent.
• Forklift Operator Certification.
• Travel Required: None.

Responsibilities

• Schedule work within the assigned team and area; create pick/move/shipping documents and maintain task records.
• Maintain a constant dock presence; demonstrate proper techniques and supervise while performing tasks.
• Unloading, loading, deluxing and minor furniture repair as needed.
• Oversee security access and RDC procedures; protect warehouse contents.
• Maximize productivity through training and coaching of new staff.
