La-Z-Boy Incorporated in Chesterfield, MO is seeking a Z Dock Lead to supervise a warehouse team, ensure efficient dock operations, and safeguard inventory. You will schedule workloads, guide picking, packing, and shipping, and help maintain accurate records throughout each shift.

The role requires a High School diploma or GED, forklift certification, and leadership experience. Physical duties include standing, lifting up to 50 lbs, and occasional travel for training.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED with 0–2 years of relevant experience.
• Forklift Operator Certification required.
• Experience leading a small team is preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform manual tasks.

Responsibilities

• Schedule work within the assigned team and area.
• Create work documents for picking, moving, and shipping.
• Maintain records and assignment lists of tasks performed throughout the day to minimize downtime and to create a record for accountability.
• Keep records of work performed vs. time to create comparative metrics.
• Maintain a constant dock presence inspecting work in progress and demonstrate proper techniques.
• Unloading, loading, deluxing and minor furniture repair as needed.
• Oversee security access and RDC procedures and build security protocols.
• Train new staff to maximize productivity.
