Job summary

Thibaut in Charlotte, NC is seeking a Warehouse Lead to join our distribution team. You will manage the wallpaper and fabric departments, supervise about 24 associates, and participate in picking, packing, and shipping orders.

You will maintain inventory accuracy, communicate with customers, train staff, and drive safety, quality, and productivity. Experience in textiles and forklift/cherry picker operation is valued.

Qualifications

• Minimum of high school diploma/ GED required.
• 4+ years of experience in receiving, inventory management or other similar distribution center activities.
• 2+ years of leadership experience required.
• 2+ years of cherry picker experience required.
• Prior experience in textiles and wallcoverings preferred.
• Familiar with inventory and warehouse management concepts and systems.
• Excellent computer skills, preferably in an AS400 or Infor environment. Must be able to use MS Office especially Excel and Word.
• Able to lift up to 60 lbs.
• Able to push and pull rolling carts and pallet jacks.
• Able to stand/walk up to 8 hours per day.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily operations in wallpaper and fabric distribution with a staff of approximately 24 associates.
• Participate in all activities of the department, including picking, packing, and shipping orders.
• Provide accurate and effective communication for internal and external customers by phone and email.
• Maintain inventory accurately according to company policies.
• Recognize quality issues and escalate safety, cleanliness, and quality concerns as needed.
• Ensure the team meets or exceeds productivity standards.
• Review activities to ensure adherence to SOPs and processes.
• Collaborate with distribution management to establish best-practice workflow and continuous process improvement.
• Manage daily workflow for all Wallpaper and Fabric associates and provide required training.
• Safely operate equipment such as forklifts and order pickers.
