Job summary

Olgoonik is seeking a Warehouse Specialist Lead for First Shift in San Diego, CA to manage receiving and storage operations on the GDEC TO34 line. The role includes supervising a team, ensuring MIL-STD 129 compliance, and using DSS and MS Office tools.

A lead differential of $2.50/hour applies alongside base pay. The position requires a HS diploma/ GED, plus several years of experience in material handling, inventory, and quality assurance.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 2 years of college or technical school preferred (may substitute experience for education).
• 5 years general experience.
• 3 years specific experience in material handling, supply, distribution, inspection, QA, or related areas.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Supervisor in scheduling work, instructing and aiding a group of employees.
• Maintain records and ensure smooth workflow; evaluate performance.
• May temporarily act on behalf of a supervisor during emergencies or absences.
• Identify, examine, classify, accept/reject, and dispose of material per DLA regulations.
• Conduct inventory/causative research and read supply manuals, specs, drawings, and prints.
• Load material on/off skids, pallets, and stands.
• Prepare labels and reports; operate MHE; input data into DSS.
