Job summary

Crane is seeking a Subject Matter Expert to oversee processes, technology applications, and hardware in the warehouse environment. The role requires directing staff, training teammates, and ensuring accurate order fulfillment with strict adherence to safety standards.

The position involves hands-on forklift operation, RF scanning, and daily inventory management to maintain high service levels. On-site presence is required at the McCook location with opportunities to lead initiatives across teams.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Three or more years of related experience.
• Forklift certification must be obtained within 30 days of hire.
• Ability to operate forklift while maintaining safety and efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Directs work of other team members as instructed by the team supervisor.
• Ensure customer orders are picked, checked, and packed accurately and in a timely fashion.
• Perform inventory counts as directed and make adjustments when needed and authorized.
• Monitor compliance of safety and security procedures.
• Load and unload materials onto or from pallets and vehicles using forklift or hand tools.
• Scans freight via warehouse management system with RF equipment.
• Fills client orders safely, efficiently, and within SOPs.
• Job requires presence on-site at the assigned work location.
