Job summary

Warren Distribution in Greensboro, NC is seeking a Warehouse Lead to oversee the smooth flow of products in a warehouse environment. You will coordinate daily team tasks, record material movement in the WMS, and ensure safety compliance while supporting supervisors in department tasks.

The role requires operating forklifts, handling heavy items, and maintaining accurate records. You will contribute to productivity and quality while promoting a safe workspace and timely deliveries.

Qualifications

• Six months related experience or a satisfactory combination of education and experience.
• Must be able to obtain forklift license through Warren Distribution.
• Ability to operate forklifts and other material handling equipment safely.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality and safety.

Responsibilities

• Assist in coordinating daily responsibilities of team members to ensure shipping/receiving needs are met.
• Prepare and distribute assignments to team members.
• Safely use powered industrial trucks and other machinery to transport materials and products.
• Use the warehouse management system (WMS) to record movement of materials and products.
• Safely load and unload trailers, shelves, racks, and pallets.
• Inventory materials and product and record weights on tags and schedules.
• Perform daily safety checks on material handling equipment and recharge batteries.
• Maintain clean work areas and equipment; support continuous improvement efforts.
• Communicate effectively with supervisors, team members and internal/external customers.
