Job summary

Qualifications

• High School diploma, GED or equivalency required. Working on a college degree preferred.

• Possesses strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Must have reach truck experience.

Responsibilities

• Processing and requisitioning of supplies; delivering, and packaging materials for shipment.
• Supervise and coordinate Warehouse Personnel and activities to meet productivity goals and maintenance functions.
• Coordinate employee training on safety, forklift safety, SOPs, and warehouse policies.
• Collaborate with internal/external customers to resolve shipping, receiving, and inventory discrepancies.
• Prepare work schedules including assignments, rotations, breaks, overtime, and coverage for vacation.
• Review employee performance and address complaints and implement corrective actions.
• Assist supervisor in developing process-improvement plans and compiling productivity statistics.
• Complete daily sanitation schedule and end-shift paperwork; ensure sanitary warehouse conditions.
• Inform supervisor of potential problems and changes; act as backup in supervisor's absence.
• Review and approve employee time and attendance records.
• Address performance problems through corrective action and dismissal.
