Job summary

Oak View Group is seeking a Warehouse Lead to support venue distribution and inventory operations in Tampa, FL. You will assist with purchasing, receiving, stocking, and daily task coordination for a fast-paced event‑driven environment.

The role requires 1–2 years in foodservice/hospitality, a high school diploma, and a valid Food Handler’s certificate with possible Alcohol Service Permit. Reliable, physically capable individuals who can work evenings and weekends are encouraged to apply.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1–2 years of foodservice/hospitality experience; similar venue experience a plus.
• Food service certification.
• Ability to calculate basic math functions (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, percentages) as they relate to product inventory.
• Ability to work well in a team‑oriented, fast‑paced, event‑driven environment.
• Possess a valid Food Handler’s certificate and Alcohol Service Permit if required by provincial or local government.
• Possess thorough working knowledge of all applicable sanitation requirements, food preparation guidelines, alcohol service policies, safety standards, etc. pertaining to Oak View Group and venue concession operations.
• Ability to make sound business/operations decisions quickly and under pressure.
• Performing the duties of this position involves extensive standing and walking.
• Must be able to reach with hands and arms, sit, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, and crawl.
• The employee is frequently required to lift heavy objects.

Responsibilities

• Assist with product purchasing/ordering, receiving, and distribution control for the venue.
• Oversee associates and assign daily tasks.
• Maintain sanitation and organizational systems of all warehouse storage areas.
• Fulfill all expectations, including but not limited to requisitioning, stocking, inventory, warehouse returns, equipment storage, sanitation, and maintenance.
• Ensure appropriate stocking levels are met for each day; rotate and maintain the integrity of product.
• Ensure proper transfer process of product between locations, including follow‑up documentation.
• Assist in performing routine maintenance; responsible for restaurant and catering utility equipment cleaning and maintenance: portable equipment, burden carriers, carts, floors, refrigeration, and lighting.
• Ensure manifested equipment is in location.
• Conduct a walk‑through of the commissary, warehouse, and storage areas after the completion of the day to ensure all areas are clean.
• Maintain a thorough working knowledge of all existing restaurant locations: geographical location, equipment, evacuation procedures, adjacent employee and guest areas, and facility access.
• Communicate with employees, co‑workers, volunteers, management staff, and guests in a clear, professional, and courteous manner that fosters a positive, enthusiastic, and cooperative work environment.
