Job summary

Oak View Group in Lawrence, KS is seeking a Warehouse Supervisor to oversee venue distribution and warehouse operations, including inventory, receiving, purchasing, and transfers. You will lead a team, ensure safety, and maintain accurate records for every event.

This full-time role requires 2–3 years of warehouse experience with at least 1 year in supervision, forklift certification, and strong communication.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 2-3 years of warehouse/distribution experience with at least 1 year of supervisory experience.
• Forklift certification.
• Ability to communicate with employees, co-workers, volunteers, management staff, and guests in a clear, professional manner.
• Solid working knowledge of computer applications: Microsoft Office, POS systems, and timekeeping systems.
• Ability to work well in a team-oriented, fast-paced, event-driven environment.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for product purchasing/ordering, receiving, and distribution control for the venue.
• Ensure that established procedures for tracking purchase orders, requisitions, receiving dockets, and perpetual inventory are maintained; report deviations.
• Maintain and oversee sanitation and organizational systems of all warehouse storage areas.
• Supervise part-time staff to ensure lay-ins, requisitions, and post-event breakdown are completed.
• Oversee the purchase order system for all orders; verify specifications and proper stocking of supplies.
• Oversee stocking levels, rotate inventory, and ensure proper transfer of products between buildings.
• Perform routine maintenance of concession and utility equipment and maintain clean facilities.
